Our Microsoft OneDrive / SharePoint online training will show you how to effectively share and edit your documents with others at the same time, see the changes they’ve made, see any comments made about the documents, and much more. The session covers the all-important differences and similarities between OneDrive and SharePoint and how you can synchronise them both with your Windows File Explorer.

We can also tailor-make and customise the content and delivery of the session for your organisation/business.

Detailed Content

This is delivered as a 3-hour live, online session, or face-to-face workshop. Participants will learn how to:

  • State how OneDrive is similar to and different from SharePoint and how they interact.
  • Navigate OneDrive / SharePoint via the browser and via File Explorer.
  • Use powerful search functions for documents based on people they’re shared with and other information.
  • Fine-tune your folder structure and file-management system with colour-coded folders and more.
  • Open/edit files stored in OneDrive / SharePoint compared with offline.
  • Understand differences in OneDrive / SharePoint sync icons.
  • Use and understand keep files’ always on device or free up space’.
  • Save new files and note changes/options to ‘Save’ dialogue box.
  • Manage/adjust autosaving options.
  • Manage/view different versions of the same file.
  • Share documents with others using different methods (compare with Teams).
  • Allow editing or just viewing on shared files, see who has shared access to files.
  • View/manage comments on live files.
  • Use shortcuts to access common OneDrive / SharePoint features.
  • Ask your specific questions.

What You Require For Online Session

  • Your PC/laptop, with internet, sound enabled and speakers.
  • A headset with microphone is recommended. A webcam is optional.
  • Double-screen or wide-screen if you wish to follow the trainer, otherwise you just view.
