Downloading Files Used in Courses & Manuals:

Files used in our courses and training manuals can be downloaded here free of charge. Files are to be used only in conjunction with the relevant CLASS Training manual.

Before using any files, ensure they have have been scanned with your anti-virus application. CLASS Training is not responsible for any loss of data or any other damage due to downloading and using course sample files.

Click the + icon next to the ‘type’ of course or manual you want (e.g., Access, Excel, MYOB, etc).

Both the (EXE version) and the (ZIP version) contain the individual files as combined or ‘zipped’ files.

The (EXE version) of the files is a self-extractor which means it will automatically copy the files to your hard drive. You need to manually copy the individual files out of the (ZIP version). Note: You must have WinZip installed on your system. See the WinZip web site for obtaining the program.

Some Internet providers and networks block the downloading of EXE files, even though they are easier for you to use. So, a ZIP version of the course files is provided as well.

Option 1 – Downloading and extracting files directly:

Click the + sign for the type of course or manual you want.
Click the name of the course with the (EXE version) displayed.
When a box appears, click the Run button.
After a little time, another box appears, so click Run again.
Make sure the WinZip Self Extractor box appears.
Leave the folder name as it is or change it if you like, then click Unzip.
Click OK when the ‘unzipped successfully’ box appears, then click the Close button.
If you didn’t change the folder name, your files are in the
c:\CLASS Training Course\(name of course/manual) folder.

Option 2 – Saving the file on your computer then extracting the individual files:

Click the + sign for the type of course or manual you want.
Click the name of the course with the (EXE version) displayed.
When a box appears, click the Save button.
Change to a folder where you will download and save the EXE file, or leave it as it is, on the Desktop for example.
Wait until the file is saved.
When the Download Complete box appears, click the Run button.
Repeat the steps 4. to 8. in Option 1 above.

Important Note: For this method, you must have WinZip installed.
Click the + sign for the type of course or manual you want.
Click the name of the course with the (ZIP version) displayed.
When a box appears, click the Save button.
Change to a folder where you will download and save the EXE file, or leave it as it is, on the Desktop for example.
Wait until the file is saved.
When the Download Complete box appears, click the Open button.
When WinZip starts, click the Extract button in the toolbar.
When the Extract box appears, either browse to a folder or type a drive and a folder name for the location of the files. If it’s a new folder, WinZip will create it.
Click the Extract button.
Exit WinZip and then go to the folder where you extracted the files.
